The outset test of e-Enduro circuit, the first in global level reserved only to pedal assistance mountain bike and recognized from Ente Nazionale Ciclismo it was successful, probably much further than the aspirations.

In fact, almost a hundred bikers showed up in Sestri Levante on their e-bikes, most of them where Specialized Turbo Levo motorized BROSE for the first event, which was entirely dedicated to e-bikes.

It was a real competition, not extremely but very challenging for everyone, from the untrained, who thanks to pedal assistance mountain bike, made their coming out in world’s competition, to the more seasoned endurers with a wishful thinking of classifying.

Vittorio Gambirasio won the competition, the same person who a year ago was awarded the that in Sestri Levante was awarded the Italian Championship Enduro a year ago..

Wonderful and very animated, not only by the participants, but also by many fans and tourists, was the departure and arrival and zone, with paddock and the whole exhibition village on board-walk of Viale delle Rimembranze, always crowded and full of life.

In the heart of ligurian village, there were so many stands, including the Race Events inflatable, with the segretary competition, Specialized, and BROSE boh with  “Octopus”, the innovative charging station, able to serve 100 batteries l’innovativa stazione di ricarica, capace di servire 100 batterie at the same time, offered a charging service for all the riders during the competition.

Well, a great e-bikes movement, and so many courious very interested to this new kind of mountainbike, animated the week end in Sestri Levante.

Specifically, riders faced a route with 4 special tests, with a total of 38km and 1.350 vertical, meters , tranfers included. They repeated twice the Hanno quindi ripetuto due volte la super special test of S.Anna, theater of the Italian Championship Enduro in 2015, and Ps2, named Capenardo, that contained a larger climb tract. In conclusion, the Ps in the heart of Sestri Levante with the marvellous ride on the beach of Baia de Silenzio and the worthy closure with final party and ligurian focaccia for everybody!

More than deserved, since hearing the same winner that it’s not easy to go as fast as you can one e-bike, and if you want to be in the final classification, probably it’s more challenging than a traditional enduro bike.

The date is on June 4th in Massa Marittima, where will play the second test of e-Enduro circuit.
